PSA to the Creepypasta Fandom (1)

lets play a game
lets say you have a younger sibling, and you love them with all your heart. lets say your precious younger sibling is suddenly raped or molested by someone close to them.
How would you react?
Would you tell them to get over it?
Would you tell them that sex is a cure-all?
would you tell them to just bottle it up?
if you're a fucking decent human being you wouldn't. you'd help them past this traumatic event as best you can while hunting down the fuck that hurt them. Treat your OCs like a younger sibling or a child
right now
some of you are saying
"but i don't have any siblings" or "i don't want kids"
yes ok
but the point still stands
if someone close to you, especially a fucking child, were raped/molested/abused, you wouldn't brush off their trauma like its nothing.
At least a decent person wouldn't.

so why, for everything that is holy on this stupid, unforgiving planet, would you slap on RAPE, of all fucking things, like some throw away excuse for you edgy OC.
first off, you don't just GET OVER rape. maybe some do through sheer willpower and persistence. and y'know what? more power to them if they do. But far and few between, most rape/molestation/bullying/abuse victims do NOT get over this trauma on their own. If at all.

these are REAL things that happen and HAVE happened and WILL happen to REAL fucking people. You wouldn't walk up to a rape victim and tell them that all their problems would be solved if they got over it.
because they'd probably fucking kill
and, to be fair, i'd fucking let them.
and i'd possibly join in

back to the point,
everyone handles trauma differently
rape victims may develop a warped sense of consent or allow themselves to be in relationships in which they are abused more often because they think that is how relationships work.
this is especially so for children.
Does your child OC show signs of a heightened sex drive, particularly towards adults?
does your child OC not trust adults, specifically ones with a certain hair or eye color?
does your child OC have sever trust issues, or are they open to their feelings?
have they blocked out their trauma or does it keep them up at night?
how does your OC feel about being in a sexual situation?
do they have any triggers?
have they gotten over it? if so, how?
did they do it alone?
did they have friends to help them?
were they gradually able to learn to trust again?
Do they have a warped sense of comfort, affection, consent, or anything because of their trauma?

these questions, and so many fuicking more, are questions EVERYONE needs to ask themselves before adding traumatic events like rape, molestation, abuse, kidnapping, etc to their OC's backstory.
ESPECIALLY if its just some throw away excuse for your shit OC to "go insane"

But the CP fandom has taken rape lightly for FAR TOO LONG.
rape, abuse, molestation, kidnapping, etc are things THAT DESERVE TO BE HANDLED WITH TACT AND RESPECT.
How dare you treat the trauma of thousands upon thousands of people everywhere like some sick fucking joke because
